My Activation Code cannot connect to your server. Help!

This error message usually means that the settings on your firewall is not allowing the game to access our server to activate the game. You can try adjusting your firewall settings or temporarily disabling your firewall so that the server can be accessed.

Also, the Unlock Code that was issued to you at the time of purchase will also activation the game. Please click on the text that reads: "I'm not connected to the Internet" to enter the Unlock Code.

If you have done the above, but you are still unable to activate your game, please send an e-mail to support. Please be sure to include the Product Code from the game so that we may generate a new Unlock Code for you.

 

How do I use the re-register feature?
  • Download and install a new copy of the game.
  • Open the game and click on the "Already Paid" button. If you cannot find such a button:
     
    • Click "Buy Now"
    • Click "Already Paid"
    • Click "Get Code"

This will take you to our web based Unlock Code re-issue page.
Just enter the requested information and our system will automatically e-mail a new Unlock Code to you. (Note: You must use the e-mail address that was used at the time of purchase)

 

Can I put the game on my other computer?

Yes, you can put the game on your other computer. In order to get the full version of a game that you have previously purchased working on another computer, you need to download the game from this website, then follow the re-register procedure on the other computer.

 

My Hard Drive crashed. How can I get my game back, and do I need to re-pay?

You will need to re-download and re-register your game. You do not have to repay to re-register your game.

 

How can I install and register my game if my other computer is not connected to the Internet?

In order to install and register a game on a computer that is not connected to the Internet you will need to burn a copy of this game onto a CD and install it on the other computer. Once the game has been installed on your other computer, it will have a new Product ID Number which will require a new unique Unlock Code.

To obtain this Unlock Code, you will need to write down the Product ID number found within the new installation of the game and, using a web enable computer, use our re-register feature at www.reflexivearcade.com/reregister.aspx Insert the Product ID Number and the e-mail address you used to purchase the game and a new Unlock Code will be automatically e-mailed to you for free.

 

I had to re-install the game and my old Unlock Code is not working. What can I do?

The newly installed copy of the game will not accept the your original Unlock Code because when you installed the game on a new hard drive, the game automatically created a new Product ID number that requires a new Unlock Code.

You can obtain a new Unlock Code by using our re-register feature.

 

My game uses a Registration Code, not an Unlock Code. What can I do?

In December 2005, we switched from "Registration Codes" to "Unlock Codes". Your game may have been downloaded prior to December 2005 and it still uses Registration Codes. Do not be alarmed. If we reference "Unlock Code" in our directions or instructions, you can substitute this verbage with "Registration Code".

 

My e-mail address has changed. How can I update it so that I can use the re-register feature?

To update your e-mail address you will need the following information:
  • Your old e-mail address
     
  • The credit card number that was used at the time of purchase
     
  • The original Unlock Code from your game

Once you have the all the necessary information, click here to update your e-mail address.

 

I think I entered an incorrect e-mail address, how can I change it?

Please contact us at support and tell us your first and last name, the game you purchased and the date you purchased the game. We will look up your order, and change your email address in our database.

If requested, we will also send you a copy of your order that we have on file.

 

Why am I being asked to connect to the Internet while playing the Mystery Case Files series?

The Mystery Case Files series of games are downloaded a little differently than most game in the Arcade. The initial download of the game is only the first case. While the first case is being played, the rest of the cases are being downloaded behind the scenes. This allows for a smaller initial download and you can start playing the game sooner without having to wait for the entire game to be downloaded. You will need to make sure that you have an active Internet connection and that you don't have any firewall, or pop-up blockers that might be preventing the rest of the game from being downloaded.

Some users have experienced an issue where the above settings were okay, yet the rest of the game would not download. We found that uninstalling and reinstalling the game corrected the problem.

If you are still having problems with downloading these cases, please contact our support department. Please include any error messages that you may be receiving.

 

Where is my Unlock Code?

If you used Quick Pay, you will notice that you did not have to enter an unlock code. That is by design as we entered it for you at the time of your purchase. If you would like to have the unlock code on file, please note that it should be in the text of an email that you should have received shortly after purchase.

If you did not receive a receipt you may have entered your e-mail address incorrectly at the time of purchase.

Also, PayPal payments paid by e-check typically take 3-4 days for the funds to clear from your account into our account. Once the funds have been cleared, an automatic e-mail with the unlock code for the game will be sent to the e-mail address that you have on file with PayPal. The receipt that you received from PayPal was simply a confirmation that a transaction has taken place.
